I am so sorry that I haven’t been in touch with you! I really have meant to do so every day since we got back, and now you have contacted me that has spurred me on!

Yes, we did have a very good tour of Cambodia, and we were looked after so very well. Both our guides were excellent; Mr. Hou (for the first week) has excellent English and a great sense of humour. He picked up on jokes we might make very quickly. Mr. Sothea for the last week was also so kind and helpful. Mr. Kong who was our driver for the whole trip, was such a dear kind young man who “adopted” me as his grandmother, I think, as he helped me everywhere (even when I didn’t really need it!)   

Alison and Leonie enjoyed the tour very much indeed. Alison was amazed to see the difference since she and Robin were there in 2001 or thereabouts. She was so pleased to see the people apparently doing much better for themselves, -and so many more schools! Good to see children in their spick and span school uniforms going to and from school.
